About Semper Fish & Guide

My name is Chris Fleck, owner of Semper Fish & Guide. I am retired from the Marine Corps and my wife, Becky, and I live on an old cattle ranch about eight miles southwest of Columbus with our three retrievers.

I am passionate about fly fishing and endeavor to share that enthusiasm with each of my clients. I believe in achieving a total quality experience: catching fish, enjoying the outdoors and admiring the scenery and wildlife in the areas that I guide in. I am licensed Montana outfitter (license #10447) and have been guiding since 2003.

In addition to my professional fly fishing services, I am actively involved in several fly fishing and conservation-related organizations. I served as President for the Billings chapter of Trout Unlimited from 2007-2010, and was a member of the state council of Montana Trout Unlimited from 2003-2010. I served as the Guide-At-Large Director for FOAM (Fishing Outfitters Association of Montana) from 2006-2009 and am an active member of FFF (Federation of Fly Fishers), the Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Northern Plains Resource Council, Yellowstone Association and Montana Wildlife Federation.

Semper Fish and Guide is fully insured; is an accredited member of the Trout Unlimited Guides and Outfitters Association, the Federation of Fly Fishers Guides Association; and is licensed as an Independent Contractor Fishing Outfitter by the State of Montana.
